Ok I didn’t have the time I needed to pull off the surprise I wanted to for today. It will somehow get done tomorrow. There will be limited sets available but it will happen. There will be a special coupon code AND a giveaway. It will happen here. So tell me what would you like to receive in a giveaway from Lana Bella? Maybe just maybe it could influence me. Comments must respond to this post on lanabellasoap.com not from twitter or Facebook.
Ok now I am dragging my exhausted self over to my pillow. Nighty night!
I bet you thought I forgot. I didn’t Just wanted to let you know about something fabulous. I have lots of things I want to share. Today was a whirlwind. I packed 37 orders today. THIRTY SEVEN! I think I relisted all the sold items in the shop. I prepped another 84,000 orders for packing tomorrow. I planned. While I was doing all that my husband took my wonderful children to the Zoo. I wished I had been able to go.
So there you have it with about 90 minutes to spare I continue my blogging run!
Oh and if you happen to venture to the kids blog yes I know I need to get on that again but y’all have kept my really busy, but to the point if you email the kids don’t be surprised if you get an email back from them. They are in charge of their own correspondence.
Wow, Wow, Wow! I’m still somewhat in shock with the move never mind that now 6 weeks after we move to Baltimore I’ll be back here in Baltimore for Artscape! I’m very excited to be sharing a space with the lovely Kolleen from Design by Night . So to say the least the next 12 weeks of my life are going to be a whirlwind between prepping for the move and artscape! After July 19 you are sure to find me lounging poolside with my amazing kids for the rest of the summer at least possibly into the fall!
Things are currently moving at whirlwind speed at our home. House hunting (still), packing these orders just as quickly as I can. Updating etsy, getting everything listed here at lanabellasoap.com, homeschooling, organizing for said move which in reality is about 6 weeks away, prepping for the few shows I have before I leave.
This very morning I thought while drinking my coffee how I wished I was sitting on the porch at the farm in a rocker looking out over that place that brought me so much peace when I was in my teens. You see that fence, that one there, the one closest to us? I helped my Uncle Ray build that fence. There is a barn back there over my left hand shoulder behind me you can’t see he let me put a few nails in that too. I remember the day during hay season something was wrong and Lois and I going down and flipping that darn hay field there by hand. I remember Uncle Jack telling me how to drive the tractor “the right way”. I remember lifting those bails of hay and getting them into the barn. Ahh the smell of hay in a barn! Mostly I remember the laughter, the peace, the togetherness of those days in the early 90’s on the farm. Those memories get me through even the craziest of days.
This has been such an adventure but the most asked question to my last post via email was what do the dresses look like? Well there are still a few yet to arrive from the lovely Gigi , however I have received the ones from my dear friends Ann & Laura, as well as my mom and little sister. There are also the ones Lexi and I have worked on. When all counted up we have enough for TWO quilts and at least some pillow shams. With out further ado here are the hand embroidered dresses.
And because I know you too will think these little dresses are just so darling you need to make some for your projects too you can have a little sweetness in your life too!
